Picture of Lindsey

Lindsey from New Orleans is working to transform Minnesota by ‘by fostering unity, creating inclusivity, and empowering communities’.

Lindsey Roussel is a Louisiana native and art and photography professional. She has always had a positive outlook on life and believes that anything is possible if one puts her mind to it. Lindsey is a possibilist, someone who sees the potential in everything and everyone.

As the Managing Director of the Nieux Society, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering and uniting diverse communities, Lindsey graduated with a BFA in Photography from UNO. Soon after, she opened Magazine Street Framing and her own art gallery Sidewalk Side Studio. Lindsey is also a connector, someone who brings people together and helps to create new connections and opportunities. She is determined and dogged in her pursuit of her passions, and always looking for ways to take her dreams and turn them into action.

Lindsey is a doer, someone who is not content to just sit around and dream. She believes in using her creativity and passion to make a difference in the world. She uses her photography as a tool to connect people and to tell stories that inspire others to take action. Whether working on a new photography project, creating a new piece of art, or connecting with new people, Lindsey is always striving to make a positive impact in the world. She believes that by using her creativity and passion, she can transform the world one dream at a time.

Lindsey has a passion for connecting cultures and creating a sense of unity, which is why she joined the Nieux Society. She is committed to providing access to art, framing services, and resources to those in need. She is eager to help foster a sense of togetherness and bridge the gap between different communities in Minnesota.

At The 504, Lindsey strives to bring together local art and activism, creating an environment that is both empowering and inspiring. Through her work, she hopes to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone, regardless of their background or identity. She is dedicated to transforming Minnesota into a place of understanding, mutual respect, and solidarity.

We share this information in order to break down silos, enable learning from others and empower collaboration across Minnesota.

A quick pause to thank our employers:

We can represent as individuals. But we also need to connect our companies, their products and budgets to transform….

How can we influence the media with our corporate budgets to make the changes necessary in our state?

Please check out my organizations website to see if it could serve yours.

Thank youNieux Societyfor supporting United We Transform!

How can Lindsey extended network contribute to enhancing local efforts?

To collaborate better, we need to connect across silos. We need to connect better within silos. Often times the best answer is just a cubicle away that you never would have thought of. Sometimes it is an ocean away.

We are now simply providing people here to help you connect and be more successful in your career, but right now… for Minnesota!
